  1. I learned that the Mogul Empire had a government with one absolute ruler, but that within that government there were appointed officials if the ruler called on them. I also learned that the Mogul Empire changed the way that many battles were fought due to their skills in warfare. The Mogul Empire traded mostly with western Europe. I also learned that the Mogul Empire was made up of Sunni Muslims and that meant that they used the Qu'ran. Women in the Mogul Empire had the right to own or inherit property and noble women often held great power. What the Mogul Empire is known for today is the Taj Mahal, which was built during the reign of this Empire and is still vastly recognized for its architecture.

  2. Now on days we see elephants and horses at the zoo but during the time of the Mogul Empire elephants were used during war, as war elephants but they were replaced by horses because horses are faster. The Mansabdars were the highest ranked during the war. Like the other two empires the Mogul art was pottery, rugs and metalwork but the jewelry was mainly made of gold. During the Mogul Empire many famous buildings and paintings were made but the Taj Mahal was the most beautiful in my opinion. It still stands there today. The Mogul Empire was made up of Sunni Muslims. Like every other religion they also had a religious book which was called the Quran.

One major thing ,that became popular, that they traded was alcohol. They were Sunni Muslims, just like the Ottoman. One very interesting fact was that they brought elephants to their battles. Archers rode on them and shot bows during war. The Mogul empire was a quite unique empire

  8. The Mogul Empire government had one absolute ruler. But besides that he also had people to help him rule. In the end he still had the last word. The Mogul empire also introduced new things to India. They were the first to use gunpowder and also the first to use war elephants. But these war elephants didn't last long and were replaced by horse, being that skilled archers could shoot from them with ease. The Moguls were also skilled in art. Their most famous piece of art would be the Taj Mahal.

  9. The Mogul Empire was also very successful. It was very organized in its government field, considering its 2 different branches. (Exchequer and Judiciary) Religion and politics were closey linked. They were able to conquer a lot of land using cannons and guns. Elephants, horses, and camles helped conquer lands. The empire mostly traded with Western Europe, and was able to gain success. Gold was very important in the empire, used for fine jewlery. The Moguls finally ended due to lack of money and is still remembered today with the help of monuments such as the Tah Mahal.

  10. The Mogul Empire was another successful empire. It's government was split into two branches: the exchequer and the judiciary. The exchequer branch was a branch that dealt mainly with the finace and the judiciary dealt with the domestic trade. A very important building known as the Taj Mahal was built in the Mogul Empire for the rulers dead wife. This building was one of their most famouse articectual monuments. Their source of transportations were on elephants, camels, or even hourses depending on their level of class. Most of the Mogul Empire was made up of the sunni religion. One religious aspect of their time was a Quaran or a sacred book.

  13. The Mogul Empire's government was split up into 2 branches: the Exchequer branch and the Judiciary branch. The Judiciary handled domestic trade and the Exchequer handled finance. A successful technique used by the Moguls was the war elephants. They were a big part of battles and couldn't be dealt with easily. Women could get divorced, own property, and had many other rights like women today. The most famous thing in the Mogul Empire is probably the Taj Mahal.
