I think the best style of art is Baroque. Renaissance used absolutely no emotion at all. Mannerism used emotion, but was not proportional. Boroque was a type of art that was very realistic, and showed great amounts of emotion. When you look at a Boroque painting, you are able to feel emotions and moods. That is why Boroque is my favorite style of art.
I think that the best style of art between the three that we studied is Renaissance. This is because the Renaissance art was very realic and portrayed the people or things as they really looked. Although there is said to be no emotion within these pieces of art I believe that although it doesn't show what the artist felt this allows the person viewing the art to reflect thier own emotion from the piece. this allows the person who is viewing the art to be more involved and it makes the pwerson think more about what the artist was trying to depict through their art. This is why I think Renaissance art is the best type of art between baroque mannerism and renaissance.
Out of the three styles of art the best one I think was Renaissance. The Paintings weren't the most emotional but they did look better then the other types. In mannerism they did have emotion but none of the painting looked proportional. You could have a man with a head twice as big as his body, or a lady holding a baby half her size. This didn't make the painting really appealing in my eyes. Baroque took both Renaissance and Mannerism and put them together. This would've have been great, but they made a mistake. Many of the painting were religious. Almost all of them were. Art is suppose to be creativity, and when you think of art you don't think of a lecture on Christianity. This is why Renaissance is the best.
I think the best type of art was baroque style. It had tons of emotions even though it was only a picture. It was also very realistic and looked very human like. Renaissance was much unlike Baroque, it had no type of emotion what so ever. Mannerism had some emotion in its drawing, but it was not drawn to scale. I dont see how baroque is not the best type of art. That is why i believe that baroque is the best type of art.
Although I like all three, baroque is my favorite. It has a realistic feel, but is still dramatic and strongly expresses feelings. Unlike in mannerism, people are drawn in proportion. The elongated figures of mannerism do not appeal to me as much, especially when you can achieve the same effect without distorting balance. Also, even though Renaissance art is beautiful and classic, it sometimes lacks what one commonly looks for in art: emotion. Therefore, I prefer the baroque style.
The art technique that i prefer out of all of them would have to be Baroque. I would choose Baroque because it showed emotion and is very relalistic unlike Manerism and Reniassance. That is why I would choose Baroque art style out of those three given.
