4-27-12 If you were living in Germany after World War I and during the Great Depression,
do you think you would have been vulnerable to Adolf Hitler's Nazi Party and
ideas?
I think I would have been very vulnerable to Adolf Hitler's Nazi Party ideas. I would have because I think everyone would want some kind of relief from the war, actually any. I think if a man such as Hitler were to take lead and say he would make the country a better place, especially at the time, then anyone would certainly be thankful and accept him as a leader. Everyone was clueless and just wanted the country to be restored back to the way it was. If I was living in Germany after World War I during the Great Depression, I think Adolf Hitler would have definately seemed like a great person to lead the country.
I think I would have been vulnerable to Adolf Hitler's Nazi Party ideas. I would have been vulnerable because I would want to be helped after going through a war like that. I would also be vulnerable because he looked like such a serious person. Any one would want to be helped after such a great time of depression.
If I was living in Germany during the time of The Great Depression I would not have been vulnerable to Hitler's Nazi Party and their ideas. They were very cruel people who had no pity for anyone. They did everything they could to mistreat the Jewish people. Hitler wanted to make the perfect Aryan race and he killed anyone who wasnt the perfect blonde haired and blue eyed person. Learning about the cruelties of Hitler I know for a fact that I would not be able to live through that pain and agony. So if I lived during that time I would not be vulnerable to their ideas.
I think that if I lived in Germany during the Great Depression, that I would not be vulnerable to Hitler's ideas. This is because if you read his book "Mein Kampf," then you would know that he was anti-Semetic and I would not want a leader who feels that way. Hitler's views on Jewish people were clearly explained in this book, so to say that no one expected him to do the horrible things he did once he became leader is ridiculous. Although I would want a solution to the problems after World War one, and the Great Depression, I do not think that I would turn to Hitler because before I sided with any leader, I would see what their views were, and decide then who I wanted to support. That person would obviously not be Adolf Hitler.
Yes i would be vulnerable because after the depression and war people just wanted to be safe and back to when they were happy. Hitler claimed he could make the country better and help them through everything. If you were desperate for help i'd think you'd take anything that was offered to you. They weren't going to pass an offer that included making the country stronger and better. What Hitler did was the last thing on the peoples minds. They didnt expect him to do that. At first they'd do anything to get out of the depression no matter what so they weren't thinking about the bad things that could happen. He promised them a better place to live in.
Yes, I would be very vulnerable to Adolf Hitler’s idea. Especially because after Germany suffering through reparations due to WWI and now being attacked by the Great Depression, I would give in to any leader who would make me feel comfortable. Being in Germany at that time, I would view Hitler as a man who is trying to make Germany a better place rather than realizing that he is a cruel person and discriminating the Jewish people. So if I lived during that time I would not be vulnerable to their ideas.
If I lived after the world war I and the great depression, I would not be vulnerable to Hitlers ideas. Hitlers ideas were harsh, cruel, and unjust to the Jews. Yes the Great depression and world war I had some damage and effects, but locking up and killing Jews is not the solution. It wouldn't make up for all of the money lost. If you don't like a racist I can't change that, but you shouldn't go and exterminate that racist. I would not want a racist leader that would kill and I wouldn't be vulnerable to them after the WWI and great depression.
I think I would've been very susceptible to Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. After the Great Depression, Germany wasn't in the best shape. Hitler was a very powerful leader and seemed like someone who would lead the country right. In fact, he did make Germany a better place until the Holocaust. I would also be vulnerable out of fear. Hitler is responsible of many deaths and I wouldn't want to be one of them.
Adolf Hitler's ideals would surely have been able to influence me at that time. Life was difficult, and people needed someone to look up to. With his promises of a brighter future, I would follow him. The world didn't know yet about the atrocities he would later cause in life. If I had thought about it and took the time to see his views, I wouldn't have sided with him. But this was a time filled with fear and desperation.
If I were living in Germany after World War I and during the Great Depression, I think i would have been vulnerable to Adolf Hitler's Nazi Party and ideas. At that time, Germany was on the downhill and I would have been open to anyone promising the things that Hitler and his Nazis were promising. The Nazis used lots of propaganda to convince their citizens that what they were doing was great for Germany, they didn't tell everyone that they were going to create a genocide and murder millions of people. That is why I would have been vulnerable to their ideas.
I honestly think that i would except his ideas. Many people these days say they wouldn't but they dont understand how it was back then. The Germans really needed a leader to help them during their crisis. Adolf Hitler was actually a great leader but his methods were very wrong. I guess you can say that alot of the things Hitler told his people may have been vulnerable during that timebeen lies. One way or another he had to persuade people to choose him and the Nazi Parrty. Like i said before, they needed a leader and his ideas were very convincing.
If I were living in Germany during the time of the Great Depression, I do not think that I would be vunerable to Adolf Hitler's propaganda. I feel that I would have had the sense to not fall for his mindless propaganda, but I still would not have opposed his party. I would have had rather joined his party than have died going against him. That is why I would have had joined his party
If I were living during the time of Hitlers propaganda, I believe that I would have gone with it. Back in that time life was very hard and people would do anything to make their lives better. It was after the war and the war had made eveybody very needy and when someone came along saying they could help, myself and many other people would jump on the opportunity.
After World War I, I believe I would have been quite vulnerable to Adolf Hitler. At the time, the country needed a uplift to succeed, and Hitler seemed to be the one to follow to get it. He had the power and the words. He made everything seem correct at the time. Viewing it now, obviously his power was horrible. But for what seemed a better chance and better future, I would have fallen under Hitler's command.
